Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), announced that all X accounts with 2,500 or more verified subscriber followers will receive Premium features for free. Additionally, accounts with over 5,000 verified subscriber followers will get all Premium+ features at no cost.
Upon initial reading, one might mistakenly think that having over 2,500 followers entitles them to a free X Premium subscription. However, this is not the case.
One should have a total of at least 2,500 accounts in their follower list who have paid for either Basic, Premium, or Premium+ subscriptions on X. Similarly, for a free Premium+ account, one should have over 5,000 followers subscribed to either of these plans.
Going forward, all ???? accounts with over 2500 verified subscriber followers will get Premium features for free and accounts with over 5000 will get Premium+ for free
